Welcome to Serenity Counseling Services

Serenity Counseling Services is a safe, supportive space where adults can build trust in themselves, the therapeutic process, and the changes they want to make. We are dedicated to helping clients navigate variety of mental/behavior challenges and life transitions through a collaborative and compassionate approach. Grounded in evidence-based practices and guided by the belief that every person already has the tools to create a meaningful life, we walk alongside our clients as they rediscover their strengths and build the future they desire.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in Alabama and have been working in the mental health field since 2010. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A&M University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tuskegee University.

I work primarily with adults 18 and older, helping them navigate life experiences related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and the everyday stressors that come with change and adjustment. For me, therapy always begins with trust—trust in the process, trust in our relationship, and most importantly, trust in yourself. I believe you already have the tools to create the life you want; my role is simply to walk alongside you as a guide.

Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my family, crocheting, leading Girl Scouts, listening to music, and rewatching my favorite movies and TV shows. These simple joys keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, something I hope to help my clients find as well.

I accept certain insurance plans. While I can assist with questions, it is the client’s responsibility to confirm benefits—including co-pays, deductibles, and counseling coverage—directly with your insurance provider. Any portion not covered by insurance is your responsibility.

I understand that financial circumstances vary. I do offer Sliding Scale appointments starting at $50 per session. Please contact me to discuss eligibility.

Payments are due at time of service.
